Sensei Powell is our Tiny Tigers and White Belt class instructor. He has been teaching at Daypuck Karate for over 18 years and is exceptionally talented when it comes to motivating our young students. You only have to watch one of his classes to see that he has a special gift and ability to bring out the best in every student. He teaches discipline, respect and hard work. He's a great motivator and has to ability to teach a fun class that kids love to attend, all the while helping them to reach their full potential.
Sensei Powell was also a top tournament competitor in his day. He has won many first place awards and continues to share and pass these experiences on to our students. Sensei Powell competed at the NBL Sport Karate World Championships in Panama City Florida in 2002.
